This launch is taking place on stolen lands to the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. We pay our respects to elders past and present. Sovereignty has never been ceded.
Glom Press is launching the six new books that make up their 2021 collection, each from a distinctive local artist.
Join us to celebrate and officially launch:
Edie Bush’s ‘Don’t Care if You’re Shepherding a Ghost’
Merv Heers’ ‘Hericot Island’
Ben Juers’ ‘DOORKNOCKER’
Lazywilly / Meng Tsung Lee’s ‘OFFLINE’
Mira Schlosberg’s ‘Kugel Western’
& Caroline Wylds’ ‘The Party Within’
We’re holding the event at the amazing Thornbury Theatre. Doors open at 4PM with readings and performances starting from 5PM .
Anyone who bought a book in our pre-sale & indicated they would pick up at the event will have their books waiting for them. You can also purchase any of the books on the night.
The event is free and all are welcome to attend but we will also be live-streaming the performances for anyone who can’t be with us. We will update the page with links and more information about accessing the live-stream in the days before the show.
If you’ve indicated to pick up your book at the launch but can’t do so, we’ll be offering alternative pick up times and locations.
We will be in contact with anyone who doesn’t pick up on the night to give you these details.
Glom Press is supported by the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria.
The Thornbury Theatre is a wheelchair-accessible venue.
