The theatre

You could be forgiven for walking past The Thornbury Theatre concealed amidst the hustle and bustle of High Street. But take a step through the main entrance and be surprised and delighted by a majestic space embracing old world charm.

The Thornbury Theatre was an established picture theatre in the 1920’s and in 1965 was transformed to offer to very distinct function rooms which now caters for unique weddings, special occasions, corporate events, live music and theatrical performances.

The venue has disabled access via a lift to the first floor. The venue is licensed and the bar will be open unless specified.

Our ticketing is provided by Oztix.

Do not buy tickets from viagogo.com. They are not an authorised ticket seller. You will be charged up to triple the value of the tickets.

Under 18 patrons can attend if accompanied by a legal guardian.

The Thornbury Theatre is happy to offer companion cards on a request basis.

If you book more than one set of tickets for an event and they are Reserved Seating you will be seated together. We cannot seat General Admission tickets with Reserved Seating tickets.

Your seats will be allocated according to the time and date of purchase. Your booking will be seated as part of a table of 10.

If you wish to sit with friends please email neilwedd@thethornburytheatre.com with the booking names and we will move the seating (if possible).

General Admission patrons may have some seating available on the mezzanine or standing room at the back of the main room. The seating is on a first come, first served basis.

If you wish to upgrade to Reserved Seating please email neilwedd@thethornburytheatre.com with the booking names. Cost is $5.50 per person.

Some events have concert seating. Seating is assigned on a best seat available basis. Unfortunately we cannot change seating once you have booked.
